Reread the story, Krystal. Just as good as I remember. Congratulations!

Another excellent story, Rebecca. Nice twist on the time-travel trope.

Urban Fantasy, would you believe? I've decided I really do like writing this sort of thing after all!
Borrows the shades.
Arr, Phil lad, that's what comes o' writing more stories than any man in the world, oh arr. Yer puts thirty out there an' somethin's got to give!
Ahem. I'd like to think it's a matter of quality, not quantity, Long John.

First, I just got an acceptance from Sci Phi Journal.![]()
Second, I'm now officially participating in sfcomet, an international contest in Chinese, which also means that a story of mine has been translated in Chinese for the first time.![]()

At this point, I'd like to strongly suggest to all of you to apply for participation in SF Comet. The contest winner receives 500 $, and even the losers get paid nearly pro rates for publication; not to mention that you have the chance of attracting many Chinese fans. Among the authors that participated in the last six months are Mike Resnick, Nancy Kress, Alex Shvartsman, Deborah Walker, Gary Cuba and Ken Liu. This month I'm running against Anatoly Belilovsky and 3 Chinese authors. Win or lose, it will be great.

You may have a future in fortune telling, George. I just got an acceptance from Sci Phi too. Whether we will be in the same issue remains to be seen. It appears there may be a queue. Nevertheless - steps back in amazement - the past fortnight has produced as many acceptances as my entire short story career to date (2) plus a rewrite request.
If I am dreaming, please don't wake me up too soon because I'm enjoying this!
