Ishmael wrote:I once heard a distinguished person tell a story of his visit to an old people's home where not all of the inmates had full use of their faculties.
Speaking to one old lady, he happened to ask her, "Do you know who I am?"
The lady replied, "No dear, but if you ask Matron, she'll tell you."

I know this is not SF/F related news, but...oh well!

Apparently one of the producer/writers, Vere Lorimer used to get muddled between the two lead actresses whose names were Sally and Jan, but whose characters were called Jenna and Cally respectively. Apparently he would yell things like, "Er. Where is Jelly? Uh. Where is Jam?? Er. WHERE ARE MY HEROINES?!?"

I read this, I got it right away at first thinking the bird was a familiar but understood soon enough. At the end the twist is understandable - I got it. So; I want to know why the comments on the site by people who said it was too difficult to follow? I am not trying to be mean but do those who commented about being unable to follow this story just lack imagination? This was a very good story even though I do not like romance type stories.
