Non-Cents-Worth Challenge

Postby kentagions » Tue Dec 29, 2015 7:50 pm

Isn't the real question not whether the chicken or egg came first, but whether the goose or the golden egg came first?

When asked what makes me not an idiot: They say it takes one to know one. I don't know of one; therefore, I am not one.

I think therefore I am.
But what if I only think I think?
I mean, I could just be thinking I think, I think.

I know you think you understand what I said.
I'm not sure you realize what you heard is not what I mean't.

I know I know sometimes what I don't actually know. I don't know I do know sometimes what I actually do know. Then there's the altogether unknowable.

You know?
I know.
You know I know?
I know you know.
I know you know, you know?
You know I know? I know now, you know.
You now know I know you know I know?

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Yet we're told not to count our chickens until they've hatched. So if I have three pre-hatched eggs in my hand, is it possible to work out how many bush eggs that translates to?
