Re: Success!
Congrats, HL and Tamlyn!
Thanks, Aaron and J'nae Rae!
Well, another announcement from me. Seems that March has begun nicely, since I had another sale and a couple of publications in the first day and a half.
To sum it up: A Human's Life will be reprinted by Digital Fiction pub in QuickFic, AntipodeanSF Issue 224 is live including a reprint of Breathe, Little Greel and, finally, Galaxy's Edge Issue 25 is out and it includes You Can Always Change The Past.
2017 tally: 3 new sales, 5 publications.

Congratulations guys! Hey, we're all making progress now! I can even join in. Here's a formal press release (ahem):
<plug>
Philip Brian Hall's story “Iron Hail” is set to appear in the ALL HAIL OUR ROBOT CONQUERORS! anthology.
At the Zombies Need Brains online store (https://squareup.com/market/zombies-need-brains-llc), you can preorder the Kickstarter limited edition of the paperback or the ebook of the anthology.
There will also be a general release trade paperback available approximately one month after the Kickstarter editions and ebooks are shipped. The book will also be available to the general public in ebook format on the Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and various other ebook platforms at the same time.
</endplug>
I entered a story for each of the three ZNB calls, and this was the one I found hardest to write. Shows how much I know. Anyway, this one is a real blast from the past Golden Age swashbuckler. For people who like that sort of thing, this is the sort of thing they like!

Re: Success!
After a few years of nearly giving up on it (more than once), my story "Fish and Fools" has been published in Stupefying Stories 1.17!
In unrelated news, I'm in my first year of Campbell Award eligibility, but I wasn't paying attention, so I didn't make it into the anthology (I almost didn't even realize I was eligible)

I'm so excited I finally get to post in here. My Heroic Fantasy submission to Flame Tree Publishing got picked up for publication! I found out about three weeks ago, but they asked me to keep quiet until they made official announcements.

EDIT: Realized it might help if I say which one is mine.
"A Matter of Interpretation" is the story in question.

Re: Success!
Well, not only has my story 'The Waiting Room' been accepted by Third and Starlight but I got a really nice note from Dr Bob about it.
IMHO this story deserves reprinting, but in the context of Peony's news it might be worth remarking it's my Flame Tree story - the one that found me sandwiched between Gogol and Irving in the ghosts anthology.
It also gives me much needed encouragement since it's only my second acceptance this year; the dry spell has been pretty dry!
