Hello folks!
I've been interested in WOTF for a long time and have submitted a couple times in the past. I worked really hard so much to my annoyance, I got big, shiny "R's" both times. I'm polishing up my next story for December, and was wondering if anyone who's gotten at least a HM or SHM would be interested in critiquing it? If you're ever looking for a proofreader or need help with a story in the future, I'd be very happy to repay the favor.
As for my previous stories, while I'm quite certain I followed the WOTF rules of submission, it's quite possible that a portion of the stories broke one of 'em. If you'd also like to look at my rejections and tell me if I'm missing something, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Holy Moly, it's the legendary Wulf Moon! Thank you for the welcome my good man! It's an honor to be here!
I'm optimistic. There's a lot of incredible talent here on this forum (yourself very much included) who are incredibly helpful and kind to new writers.
I've already introduced myself back in Feb, 2019 but I don't post too often so I've been a bit under the radar. Don't stress over it please, haha.

Re: New Writer Looking for Critique from WOTF Veteran
Adam Colston started his WotF career with two R - and then a win.
Tina Gower had three R - then a Golden win.
Excellent choice to seek some eyes. Especially here where we focus on the contest itself.
Send me a PM and I'll have a look at the first 450 - 1000 words if you're interested. I'm pretty good at getting the first few pages back quickly, and have a decent eye for catching things that "should" and "should not" be in those first few pages.

Let’s not forget our own Leah Ning’s accomplishment, who had one rejection and won on her second try!
And Elizabeth Chatsworth. Dave referred her to me for editing on her novel. After the edit, I told her she should enter WotF while she still qualified—her writing and story skills were excellent. When the quarter’s end approached, I again reminded her to get a story in, that she had the skills to win this. She took my advice...and won on her first submission to the Contest.
That said, it’s important to remember how they won. They studied hard, they did the work, and they wrote original stories.
Best of success,
Wulf Moon

That is all very true. All great rivers start from small streams. Glad to hear that I'm on the right track by talking to you folks here.
Thank you all for the help and encouragement. :-)
Also thank you Dustin, I'll take you up on that.
