Thanks guys!

I got to do a signing today with fellow winner Christoph Weber. We sold about 34 books! It was fantastic and I really appreciate Barnes and Noble, and Galaxy Press, setting it up for us. Who'd have thought I'd get a bookstore signing at this point in my career?

Speaking of signings, Jon Lasser, Stephen Merlino, Paul Otteni, and yours truly will all be on hand this coming Saturday, the 28th of May, from noon to 2pm, at the downtown Seattle Barnes & Noble.

If you've already bought a copy, I'll have bookmarks to sign, or we can do some sort of bookplate type thing.

Stop by and see us!

I should be there! Looking forward to getting my hands on the anthology and saying hi to you all. wotf007

I will laugh if Joni calls while I'm at a WotF signing.

A bunch of us WotFians--Sean Williams, Stewart, Stephen, Jon, Christoph and I--did a Mind Meld that was meant to go on SFSignal, but then SFSignal closed down at zero notice, so it's hosted over at James Aquilone's site now: What are your favorite visions of the future in the SF genre?

Go read it, and find out how intellectual everyone else's answer was compared to mine, because I essentially chose mine on the basis of how big the spaceships are. Go me!

Having gone down to see Stewart, Jon, Stephen, and Paul at the signing in Seattle, I now have my hands on a shiny WotF V32! It's a substantial book, and so pretty. I'm looking forward to finally diving in.

Yay! wotf010

I was on WOCA in FL this morning, waffling on for twenty five minutes (except when they made me break for commercials) about all things writing and WotF. Give it a listen, if you fancy.

That was a cool interview Matt. The part where you talked about the timing of Joni's call blew me away.
Two nights ago I received a call from her letting me know I was a finalist. Unlike your experience I woke up to the reality that I had dreamed the event. wotf004

It was great meeting everyone at the awards. :-)

Now, as a bit of interest. I'm the Programming Officer for San Diego's longest running SF/F Convention, ConDor. So, anyone local enough and interested on being on panels let me know. We're the first weekend of March, though there is some debate were switching dates to the following weekend because of Wild Wild West Con, a Steampunk convention in Arizona.

I did learn one thing by attending this year. I have too many friends on FB that are judges, or friends or family of judges. So, no more telling my friends on FB what story I've submitted. wotf012
